Pulled Pork recipe

A few months ago I received this recipe from a very dear friend and I have made it at least a four times since then. It is delicious and extremely easy.

I am officially naming this recipe the Maegan’s Amazing Pulled Pork

What you need:
Crock pot
1 white onion
Boneless Country style pork ribs 3-4lbs
Apple Juice
Brown Sugar
BBQ sauce

1. Spray the crock pot with cooking spray and then cover the bottom with chopped onion

2. Trim the fat from the pork and place on top of the onions

3. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of Brown sugar on top of the ribs and 1/2 cup of Apple juice  

I used an organic juice but any apple juice will work

4.Turn crock pot on low and set for at least 8 hours.

5.Come back around when it only has one hour of cooking time left. Drain the pork in a strainer and return to crock pot

6.Add the sauce and let it cook for the remaining hour. Once it is finished shred the pork (forks do this great)

Add to bun and enjoy!
